Eine Videoinstallation, die Stan Douglas für Zwolle konzipierte, sollte in Münster vergleichbar installiert werden.
Auf dem Dach des RIAGG (Regional Institute for Community Mental Health Care), das am Rande der Stadt gelegen ist, stellt Douglas zwei Projektionsleinwände auf. Dort sind zwei Videofilme zu sehen, die Aufnahmen der Altstadt Zwolles Ansichten aus der Peripherie der holländischen Stadt, mit Industrieanlagen und Feldern, gegenüberstellt. Mit dieser Installation bezieht sich der Künstler auf den Ansatz des holländischen Therapeuten Querido, die ökonomischen, familiären, religiösen und sozialen Beziehungen in seiner Psychotherapie mitzubedenken, das Individuum gleichsam von der Peripherie her zu betrachten. Dieses Konzept wollte Douglas auf Münster übertragen und die Installation in der Innenstadt am Syndikatsplatz einrichten. Das Modell der Installation wird nun im Altbau des Westfälischen Landesmuseums präsentiert.

A video installation that Stan Douglas conceived for Zwolle will be similarly installed in Münster.
On the roof of the RIAGG (Regional Institute for Community Mental Health Care), which is located near the edge of the city, Douglas exhibits two projection screens. Douglas wanted to bring the concept to Münster, to build the installation in the inner city, on the Syndikatsplatz. The model of the installation in Zwolle is being presented in the old wing of the Landesmuseum. Two video films can be seen there; the two videos contrast views of the oldest section of Zwolle, with those of the periphery of the Dutch city, which includes its industrial areas and fields.
In this installation, the artist refers to the work of the Dutch therapist, Querido. Querido wanted economic, familial, religious, and social relationships to be taken into account in his pyschotherapy, thereby observing the individual, as it were, from the periphery.
